Founded in 1930, Van der Vlist became one of the leading companies in the market of heavy and large-sized shipments. Thanks to the availability of offices and equipment throughout Europe, as well as partners around the world, the company can always offer an individual solution for loading and transshipment of heavy loads, as well as sending high and heavy cargoes to a trailer of Van’s production.
Due to the successful implementation of special and oversized transportation, the name Van der Vlist has become synonymous to quality, reliability, efficiency, and innovations over 85 years ago.
Van der Vlist excavators
The first excavator by Van der Vlist is also a means of transportation, although it was created for digging, lifting, and raking up soil and materials. The undercarriage of these cars is very similar to the chassis of the tank: the same engine and the same caterpillar base. The excavator has several arrows. The latter ends with a ladle for scooping up the ground. Many excavators, like the one shown below in the figure, have a powerful steel shield in front of them to level the territory. Just like on the crane, the hydraulic excavator uses hydraulic cylinders to drive its arrows and bucket. Other hydraulic motors and control valves in the cockpit allow you to control the movement of caterpillars and bulldozer shields. Hydraulic cylinders are driven by the same internal combustion engine that moves the excavator caterpillar tracks.
Excavator ladle assembly
The excavator ladle designs are very diverse and depend on the purpose of the ladle, the methods of its manufacture and emptying. Ladles by the type of connection with the handle can be divided into two groups: with a hinged and with rigid connection. Ones of the first group are used on most quarry excavators, ladles of the second used on overburden excavators. In the latter case, the end casting of the handle is the rear wall of the ladle. By designation, the ladles are divided into heavy, medium, and light, respectively, for handling heavy, medium, and light soils, as well as for the extraction and loading of coal. The purpose of the ladle determines the technology of its manufacture.
