On June 24, 2016 Belfreight company completed transportation of oversize heavy equipment for AO FosAgro-Cherepovets on m/v Brin-Navolok. Delivery of five items with a total weight of about 500 tons for the upgrade of phosphorus mineral fertilizers and feed phosphates production facility was carried out without intermediate transhipments, from the Port of Antwerp through the Kiel Canal from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea and then in transit through St. Petersburg along the Volga-Baltic Canal to Cherepovets.
The crossing time was about 10 days given the total distance of 1,560 nautical miles. Maximum item weight and dimensions – 306.5 tons, 30.23х4.52х4.60 m, as reported by Belfreight press service.
