Separate subdivision of OAO RZD Logistics in Yaroslavl rendered the full range of services to dispatch OOO “Eco-S” outsized equipment by railway. The equipment was loaded, lashed and fastened at Rostov-Yaroslavsky station. Eight rail platforms were used to ship four induced air flotation modules F-160 and six Rodnik modules. OOO “ECO-S” (Yaroslavl) regularly uses services of OAO RZD Logistics to transport manufactured waste treatment equipment to clients’ sites. Rostov-Yaroslavsky became the 7th station at the Severnaya Railway where OAO RZD Logistics and Severnaya DTSK are organizing integrated service on out-of-gauge freight shipment.

A steady growth was registered in the Russian transport and logistics services market last year. The amount of growth made 12.5% compared to the volumes of 2011. Experts note that the freight quantities increased against the background of tariff rising. Out of 12.5%, inflation part reached at least 8%. According to statistics, the highest freight growth rates were noticed in motor and air transport. Specialists explain that motor transport increase is caused by its advantage over rail transport. They also note overall rising number of carriers.
Azov-Don Shipping Company delivered cargo for OAO Ulyanovsk Plant of Construction Materials. Multi-modal logistics scheme covers delivery of the bulky cargo from Portugal to the final destination in the city of Ulyanovsk. The first batch out of ten was delivered to the destination in January. The equipment was shipped by water from the Port of Figueira da Foz (Portugal) to Rostov Universal Port with further reloading of the outsized load onto specialized vehicles. Weight of the cargo made 1,472.64 tons, volume – 2,797 cubic meters. Equipment supplies are in progress within the frame of OAO UKSM production modernization program.
OAO EMAlliance concluded a contract with PAO DonbassEnergo to upgrade power unit No. 12 of Starobeshevsk TPP. As per the awarded contract, OAO EMAlliance will design and deliver upgradable assemblies of pulverized-coal fired boiler TP-100 weighing more than 750 tons. Contract completion is targeted at June 2013.

LUKOIL will continue to invest in major production facilities on the territory of Volgograd Oblast, in particular, construction of the crude distillation unit CDU/VDU-1 with the capacity of 6 million tons of oil per year and the deep oil conversion complex at Volgograd Refinery. Putting the new unit into service in 2015 instead of two obsolete units will allow the plant capacity to be increased to 12 MTA.

OAO EMAlliance, part of the largest Russian power engineering group Silovye Mashiny, and General Contractor TOO Emet-Trade (Pavlodar) concluded a contract to deliver heat transfer equipment within the framework of modernization of Ekibastuz GRES-1 unit No. 2. This GRES is the biggest thermal power plant forming part of Kazakhstan’s integrated power system. Design capacity of the power facility is 4,000 MW. Production will be concentrated at the company’s main production site – Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik. Contract completion is targeted at February 2014. Weight of the items is 530 tons.
