A new gantry system B-SETWV manufactured by ENERPAC by order of SPETSTYAZHAVTOTRANS Group was successfully tested in the city of Hengelo (the Netherlands).

The gantry system is designed to lift and place onto foundation cargoes weighing 1,400 tons to the height of 100 meters. The testing involved the maximum weight of 1,830 tons.

It was witnessed also by representatives of the following companies: OAO Achinsk Refinery, OAO TAIF-NK and OOO RN-Tuapse Refinery.

The final stage of tests will take place in September 2013 – checking the system functioning under various conditions: lifting, turning over, installation of the 1,400-ton cargo accurate to 5 mm, and after that this truly unique equipment will be transported to Russia.

As per the plans of SpetsTyazhAvtoTrans Group, the specialized lifting and transport system B-SETWV will be first used at Achinsk Refinery facilities.

As you may recall, official ENERPAC’s representative in Russia is InSpetsTekhnika.
