In April 2013, the lead Russian provider of high-tech construction and lifting machinery rental services TOPKRAN celebrates five years of cooperation with enterprises of Russia’s oil and gas sector. TOPKRAN equipment participated in upgrade of complexes at OAO Gazpromneft-Moscow Refinery, OAO Saratov Refinery, Yaroslavl Refinery (OAO SLAVNEFT-YANOS), ZAO Ryazan Refinery (TNK-BP Holding), Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association Caspian Energy Group. The geography of company’s operations covers Central, North-Western, Privolzhsky, South, and Uralsky Federal Districts of the Russian Federation.
TOPKRAN’s industrial machinery fleet comprising over a hundred machines of the leading world manufacturers – Liebherr Group, trans-national corporation Manitowoc (Grove Worldwided, Potain), Sennebogen Maschinenfabrik GmBH – allows to take part in construction of facilities of various difficulty levels and social nature.
One of the new stages in company’s operations is participation in sport facilities construction. The giant of the motor pool – Liebherr LR 1750 – is involved in construction of Fisht Olympic Stadium (Sochi). This state-of-the-art heavy-duty crane was installing the stadium walls, each section of which weighs about 200 tons. Further to the sport subject, crawler crane Liebherr LR 1350 (lifting capacity – 350 tons) participated in construction of a football stadium for 45,000 spectators in Kazan. State-of-the-art mobile 350-ton crane Liebherr LTM 1350 was involved in building the infrastructure facilities of Formula-1 class race track – Moscow Raceway.
Industrial construction remains the area of priority, and the key to its development is ensuring high quality of rented equipment on the basis of monitoring of its technological development trend, as well as democratic financial policy towards a partner. Besides, the variety of equipment (mobile and crawler cranes with the lifting capacity 25, 30, 45, 50, 55, 100, 160, 200, 220, 250, 300, 350, 400, 500, 600 and 750 tons; concrete pump trucks Waitzinger of 42/52/60m modification, modern top-slewing tower cranes Liebherr and Potain, more than a hundred units of special construction equipment) enables the complex construction mechanization program for large-scale industrial facilities to be secured.
TOPKRAN equipment has recently participated in many economic projects of federal importance: construction of cement plant ZAO Eurocement group in Podgorensky district of Voronezh Oblast, cement plant HEIDELBERG CEMENT RUS in Aleksino district of Tula Oblast; construction of Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant (Nizhny Tagil) and metallurgical plant in Balakovo, Saratov Oblast; construction of up-to-date polypropylene production complex Tobolsk-Polymer (OAO SIBUR Holding); construction of the Russian-Belgium PVC production complex in the city of Kstovo and many others.
Very important for TOPKRAN are the targets of the capital region. This is not only housing construction, but also rehabilitation of Moscow CHP-16 and CHP-20, construction of Zhulebino metro station (Moscow metro), renewal of Rublevskoye shosse. TOPKRAN team excellence enables to carry out works calling for high accuracy and special professional training. Just so, in December 2012, a Liebherr LTM 1550 made a lift of the dome frame of the New Jerusalem Monastery Voskresensky Cathedral as part of repair and recovery program for the spiritual heritage site.
TOPKRAN’s look-ahead plan implies further expansion of the machinery pool and active regional expansion. In 2012, TOPKRAN was extending the special machinery pool focusing on increase of share of equipment with the highest lifting capacity. This priority was brought about by needs of lessees while executing massive construction projects. A separate line of the company’s motor pool development became purchase of 14 tower crane units from Liebherr Group in order to meet the relevant needs of construction market representatives with an outlook for further extension of tower cranes fleet to 33 units in 2013.
This year, the company is successfully implementing a look-ahead development plan covering further increase of lifting machinery capacity by 2,000 tons more.
The keys to TOPKRAN success are high professional competence of specialists, guarantee of professional growth of employees, demand trend monitoring, regular renewal of the motor pool, priority of middle-term planning, marketing, regional expansion and risk management.
