Any trailer has a loading platform mounted on the frame, axles with wheels, springs, a turning device, and a device for coupling with the car. How long are trailers? If the trailer has more than one axis, then it has a turning device, which consists of a turntable and a front axle with a sub-frame. Trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers, in turn, are divided into general-purpose rolling stock and specialized, the bodies of which are adapted for the carriage of goods of certain types (dump trucks, cisterns, etc.). Cars designed for permanent work with trailers are called tractors, and with semitrailers – truck tractors.
For work with two or more trailers, for the performance of the duties of the freight forwarder in non-centralized transportation, the correction factors to piece rates increase when loading cars in the opposite direction.
